Writing Activity #2: Noticing/ Memory/Location

Using the idea of noticing based on the idea that memory accesses memory. We often associate memory with locations.

To mine this association write memories you have connected to each of these areas.

You can choose which rooms to use.

I remember my kitchen

Snoopy shaped pancakes.Hot chocolate after playing in the snow.

I remember my living room.

Wrestling and making Casey cry.

I remember my bathroom.

I remember my bedroom.

I remember my dining room.

I remember my basement.

I remember my hallway.

I remember my backyard.

This format can be used for brainstorming. Make lists then write.

Write a poem, write a short story, write a piece of flash fiction, write the memoir!

Just write.
