A Cup of Coffee and a Conversation
Welcome back to Sunday! It is a full moon tonight and the time change. I do not like daylight savings time at all.
If we were having coffee I would tell you the twowritingteachers.org challenge is working nicely. We are one week in and I have posted every day. The interaction is the highlight of this challenge and the inspiration from reading everyone’s writing.
If we were having coffee I would tell you my son turned 17 this week. There was birthday meatloaf and mashed potatoes and St. John beans with DQ ice cream cake.
If we were having coffee I would tell you I bought a ticket for an event in October. I will have a lot of time to anticipate this event.
If we were having coffee I would tell you Nicole from Wild Words reminded me to listen to the Between the Covers podcast. I listened to a panel with Kelly Link about writing about and with JOY which got me thinking. The craft talks are amazing especially the one with Alexander Chee. I highly recommend it.
If we were having coffee I would tell you I had a piece published at Spelk this week. It is a piece that has a high emotion for me. I edited it with Nancy Stohlman’s class and am happy it has found a place in the world.
